POLWA to march for peace in Kumasi


Kumasi, April 13, GNA – The Ashanti Regional branch of the Police Wives Association (POLWA) is to march for peace in Kumasi on Friday, April 15.

      A statement signed by Chief Inspector Godwin Ahianyo of the Police Public Affairs Unit, said this would be done in partnership with other security agencies.

       The goal is to draw attention to the need for all to work together to make the coming general election violent-free.

        The statement said the National President of POLWA, Mrs. Charity Kudalor, and other national officers of the association would participate in the march.

        They would start from the yard of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) through some principal streets and end at the Regional Police Headquarters.

        The statement invited the general public to join the march to send clear message to everybody to avoid political intolerance.
