Konor Laweh Tsuru in an address said the findings of the committee would put him in a position to be well informed as to which of the Ga Mantse would be initiated into the Gborbu Temple for the final rite to complete the enstoolment of a legitimate one.

He said after the demise of the late Nii Amugi, the Ga Mantse, the enstoolment of his successor had been fraught with problems leading to multiple claimants to the Ga Mashie stool.

“Certain groups and individuals have taken advantage of the situation to perpetuate violence, which led to the loss of human, material and financial resources,

“A case in view is the alleged attack on Nuumo Larkotey Aduawoshie recently which left him seriously injured and the destruction of property and the seizure of the Ga Mantse Palace which attracted the timely intervention of the security services,” the Gborbu Wulomo stated.

Konor Laweh Tsuru urged all parties involved in the conflict to exercise restraint and cooperate with the committee in order to find a lasting solution to the litigations.

He said: “I wish to also state that the Homowo and the Kplejo festivals are just some few months away and we as a people need peace and brotherliness to celebrate in an atmosphere of oneness and a unity of purpose.”

Konor Laweh Tsuru said the committee would welcome any contributions and suggestions that would enhance its work, adding that; “I wish to also assure you all that, most of the sittings of the committee may be behind camera thus guaranteeing confidentiality.”
