O’Bkay ignites music career with the “Build Up”

Accra, Nov.5, GNA – Obeng Francis Kumi known in showbiz as “O’Bkay” has unveiled a creative platform to demonstrate his music prowess with his maiden release titled “The Build Up”

The Ghanaian rapper, who featured on Sarkodie’s “Bibiba”, has been a sensation to the rap music and gradually setting the pace as a prodigy in the industry.

According to the versatile musician, who gained nomination in the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards “Unsung” category, he wants to use the youtube platform to get closer to his fans and showcase his talent.

“It’s to kick start my activity on YouTube, where I’ll be dropping rap materials and more on a regular basis. Trying to also put GH rap on the map like the pacesetters have.

“The Buildup” as it sounds, is a piece to display rap prowess by merging old school rap style with the new school”. He told the GNA Entertainment in an interview.

He added, “I figured there might be two sides of my craft as a musician and as a result of not losing my fan base, I’ll be serving them good stuff on my YouTube Channel”.

O’Bkay since his emergence on the scene has put out a number of singles and gradually making grounds in the music circles.

His maiden release on his YouTube channel tittle “The Build Up” was Produced by Hydraulix and Directed by Film God.
