Foundation runs to the aid of school

The huge discomfort teachers and pupils of the Adaase Primary School in the Obuasi Municipality have had to endure for more than six months due to the destruction of the roofing of the school, is now over following the intervention of a local charity organization.

Mama Love Foundation has made available cash of GHȼ4,000.00 towards the purchase of bundles of roofing to fix the damage and allow for smooth teaching and learning.

Ms. Love Konadu, the Founder, said it was deeply touched by the plight of the children and their teachers. The Foundation has been at the forefront of efforts at providing care for orphans and prisoners in the municipality.

Presenting the cash gift at a ceremony, she underlined the need to give priority to the development of education. She said it was important for everybody to find space to assist create the right environment for effective academic work in the schools.

 Mr. Anthony Maxwell Amoakoh, the Municipal Director of Education, thanked the Foundation for the gesture. He said steps were being taken to get the assembly to build an additional classroom structure for the school.

  Nana Yaw Frimpong II, Odikro of Adaase, praised “Adom TV” for putting a spotlight on the state of affairs in the school, something that moved the Foundation to step in to help make things better.
