Veteran Czech Republic midfielder Tomas Rosicky is returning to Sparta Prague after 15 years away, the club said Tuesday. The 35-year-old Rosicky began his career with Sparta in 1998 but left for Borussia Dortmund in 2001 and subsequently joined Arsenal in 2006. He returned to Prague on a free transfer after his contract expired.
Rosicky is known for his creativity but his talent has been hampered by a series of injuries. He has earned more than 100 caps for his country but has not yet announced if he will retire from international football or continue after appearing in Euro 2016.
