Accra, Aug. 1, GNA – The Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG) on Monday called on its members to maintain the strike action.
A statement signed by Mr Isaac Bampoe Addo, CLOGSAG Executive Secretary, and copied to the Ghana News Agency, said the Chief Executive Officer and the Public Relations Officer of the FWSC are not paid through the Single Spine Salary Structure (SSSS).
CLOGSAG alleged that Mr Smith Graham, Chief Executive Officer and Mr Ankrah, Public Relations Officer, were not involved in the policy formulation and the initial implementation of the Single Spine Pay Policy.
It urged its members to continue to the industrial action until further notice from the national secretariat.
CLOGSAG on July 27, declared nationwide strike claiming that the Association’s negotiations with Government on Interim Premium “has not been conclusive”.
The Association directed its members to stay at home until further notice.
