Youth told to remain resolute in upcoming election

  Asamankese (E/R), July 28, GNA – The West Akim Municipal Chief Executive, Mr George MensahAkpalu, has advised the youth to stay away from activities that may result in chaos during the 2016 presidential and parliamentary elections.

      Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at Asamankese, Mr Akpalu said the youth must remain resolute and not allow themselves to be used to foment trouble.

      “Be resolute and say no to any form of action that would mar this year’s polls and country’s good electioneering record,” he said.
      The MCE observed that fomenting trouble to serve someone’s political agenda would not augur well for the country.
      He, therefore, advised the youth to be law-abiding and work vigorously to help make the upcoming general election credible, transparent, free and fair.
