Ho, July 27, GNA- Volta Youth Alliance, a non-political association of youth groups in the Volta Region is to embark on a march in Ho, in appreciation of development projects by President John Dramani Mahama.

Mr Manfred Nuku-Dei, Patron of the Alliance told the Ghana News Agency that the march is a “celebration of unprecedented infrastructure development in the region”.
He said asphaltic overlay of the Ho Township, completion of the main campus of the University of Health and Allied Sciences and construction of Community Day Senior High Schools in three and half years were no mean achievements and that the President ought to be appreciated for the feat.
“We have not seen these things in previous regimes so it’s just fair that we commend the President,” Mr Nuku-Dei stated.
He said youth unemployment and unreliable energy remained major problems confronting the country and urged President Mahama to address them.
Mr Nuku-Dei said the march, scheduled for August 12, would be climaxed with a carnival at the Ho Jubilee Park.
