Accra, July 25, GNA—Tema Connection scored 30 points to win the maiden Ghana Revenue Authority (Customs Division) Senior Staff Association Fun Games held at the Aviation Social Centre in Accra on Saturday.
Kotoka International Airport (KIA) Connection took the second position with 21 points whilst Customs Headquarters placed third with 20 points.
The games, which was on the theme ‘ Continuous Exercise is Key to Good Health, was jointly sponsored by Huawei Technologies, Ghana Community Network Services (GCNet) and Hollard Insurance Ghana Limited.
Mr Ebenezer Bob- Eshun, Chairman of the Headquarters Branch of the Association said the games was aimed at socializing with the branches of the division, make merry and make fun as well as promoting health.
“One can only increase productivity only when one is healthy and therefore we must ensure that workers of the division stay healthy at all times,” he added.
Mr Bob-Eshun said the Division had launched health-promotion activities, such as health walk and games, which would help them to remain healthy at all times to enable them to achieve their revenue target.
He urged members of the association to take active interest in the activities of the association to stay healthy.
They participated in games such as soccer, volleyball, tug-of-peace, draught and ludo.
