Catholic Education Unit donates items to Atulbabisi school

Atulbabisi (U/E) July 24, GNA – The Catholic Education Unit in the Upper East Region has presented learning materials to the pupils of St. Peter and Paul Primary School at Atulbabisi, a community in the Bolgatanga Municipality.

Atulbabisi (U/E) July 24, GNA – The Catholic Education Unit in the Upper East Region has presented learning materials to the pupils of St. Peter and Paul Primary School at Atulbabisi, a community in the Bolgatanga Municipality.

     The items included books, pens, learning accessories and toiletries.

     Madam Margaret Ayarik, the Headmistress of the school, expressed gratitude to the Catholic Education Unit for the gesture and advised the pupils to take good care of the items.

     She called on the teachers to ensure that they used the items judiciously and further appealed to the Bolgatanga Municipal Assembly (BMA) and the Ghana Education Service (GES) to assist the school with a Junior High structure.

     Madam Ayarik said pupils after completing Primary six, were faced with admission challenges into the Junior High school.

     Madam Grace Kaba, a teacher at the Sacred Heart Junior High School,  also appealed to Non-governmental Organizations to come to the aid of the school.
