Alhaji Amidu Sulemana, Upper West Regional Minister, appealed to the elders to prevail on the youth to exercise restraint and ensure peace in the municipality.

“Let tempers cool before we go into the matter to unravel the matter and find a lasting solution to it once and forever”, he said.

Alhaji Sulemana urged the factions to avoid religious conflict because “it is difficult to resolve religious conflicts”.
