He has therefore entreated workers of the NHIA to educate clients consistently on the toll free call centre number- 05444446447, which is usable on both Vodafone and MTN.

Mr Nartey, who made this known at a durbar in the Western Region to interact with staff of the Authority, entreated them to work hard to sustain the good reputation of the NHIA both local and international.

He said Ghana’s NHIA model has become example for the international community, adding: “We need to share knowledge through working experience.”

Mr Nartey noted that management is working to surmount the challenges facing the Authority and urged the staff to work hard despite the limited resources.
