Accra, Sept. 25, GNA – Emmanuel Kyeremeh, President of Berekum Chelsea Football Club, was voted onto the Emergency Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Tuesday.
Kyeremeh polled 13 out of the 18 votes to defeat Alhaji Admon Munkaila in the elections.
He replaces Fred Crentsil who was named voted as the vice president of the GFA earlier in the day.
Kyeremeh, an accomplished accountant, led Chelsea to qualify for the 2012 Champions League after eight years of existence.
The Berekum Chelsea President expressed his appreciation to the delegates for voting for him adding that he was coming on board with his rich experience in football administration to boost the game in Ghana.
“I am already familiar with the way the game is run in this country and with this position I will be able to use my experience in football administration to further improve the game”. Kyeremeh said.
“Football administration in Ghana has many experienced people and I will join them with my experience and expertise to continue to develop the game.”
He is the general manager of NDK Financial Services, one of the respected banking organizations in the country.
