Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale over the weekend proved that he is still on top of his game after hundreds defied rains to be a part of his Sallah concert in Nima.
Wale was supposed to have staged the concert on July 6 which was the Eid-ul-Fitr holiday, but a clash in dates with music group VVIP, meant the acclaimed dance hall king would have to reschedule the date for his concert.
He chose Saturday July 23 for his concert but on the day there was another setback- rains. Many artists and even organisers would have been worried and cancelled the show midway but not Shatta Wale.
He treated his fans to back to back hit songs and not even the ‘downpour’ could overshadow the party.
The concert, according to the organisers, forms part of Shatta Wale’s Peace Campaign for peaceful elections this December.
